Lift Fit Guide
Use this guide to pick the right platform lift before you order. It takes about five minutes and a tape measure. If anything is unclear, send us your numbers for a Free Fit Check and a lift specialist will recommend the right model.
1. Measure the rise
Measure straight up from the ground where the lift will sit to the top of the step, porch or deck you want to reach. That number decides the model:
The travel height is set once during setup. If your rise is more than 72 inches, request a call back and we'll talk through your options.
2. Check the platform and the spot
- Platform: 34 × 54 inches, which fits most wheelchairs and scooters.
- Capacity: 750 lb on all three models.
- Base: the lift installs directly on a flat surface. No pit, shaft or hoistway.
- Indoors or outdoors: the lifts are built for both, with weather-resistant construction.
Not sure your spot works? Take a photo of the area and mention it in your Free Fit Check.
3. Pick how you roll off at the top
- Straight-through: you roll on and off in the same direction.
- 90 degree: you roll on, then turn to roll off at the top. Useful when the landing is to the side.
4. What the delivered price includes
- The price on each lift is what you pay to get it to your door: shipping is free, with liftgate unloading.
- Lifts ship in 2 business days and usually arrive in 5–7 days, delivered curbside by freight carrier with tracking.
- Most owners assemble a platform lift in 1–2 hours with two or three people. Prefer a pro? We'll connect you with a local installer, billed by them.
- 3-year frame and platform warranty, and 30-day returns.
Some cities require a permit for accessibility equipment or electrical work, so check with your local building office.
